Best Bike for Every Mode in Traffic Rider

Best bike for every mode in Traffic Rider: four motorcycles in a dark showroom
Traffic Rider Mod APK v2.11

All 34 bikes unlocked · 183.5 MB

Ask ten Traffic Rider players for the best bike in the game and most of them name the fastest one they own. Then watch them take it into two-way Endless and end the run against a truck inside a minute. The garage holds 34 bikes, the game asks four very different questions of them, and the right answer changes with the mode. A bike is only “best” at a job.

This page gives one pick per job — Career, Endless in both directions, Time Trial and Free Ride — plus a kinder alternative for each, for players whose garage or hands are not there yet. The picks follow each bike’s role in the garage itself: its style, its performance bars, and where it sits in the progression. The full list they come from is our guide to all 34 Traffic Rider bikes. One caution before the table, because it shapes everything below: the game does not publish a top speed per bike, so any ranking built on exact km/h figures is built on air. These picks are built on what each mode actually asks of you.

What “Best” Actually Means Here

Every mode leans on a different part of the bike. Career missions mix their targets — a distance inside a time limit on one mission, a speed to hold on the next, a count of close overtakes after that — so Career rewards the bike with no weak side. Endless pays for survival at speed, which is a brakes-and-stability problem wearing a speed costume. Time Trial is checkpoints, and checkpoints are won on acceleration out of slow points and braking into them. Free Ride asks nothing at all, which turns out to be its own requirement.

Upgrades move the answer, too. Each bike improves in the same three areas — Power, Handling and Brakes — in steps of +5, and a mid-tier bike with its brakes sorted will out-survive a stock superbike in traffic almost every time. Read the picks below as “best tool for the job at a similar state of tune”, and spend your upgrade steps on the stat the mode leans on before you spend cash on a tier jump.

What each Traffic Rider mode rewards: Power, Handling and Brakes upgrade focus for Career, Endless, Time Trial and Free Ride

Career Mode: SR 1000Z

Career is a ladder of more than 90 missions, and the targets change their mind constantly. One mission wants a distance covered before the clock runs out. The next wants a speed held. A third counts close overtakes and does not care how fast you were going between them. A specialist bike clears one of those and struggles at the others; the SR 1000Z, a BMW S 1000 RR-style superbike from the late-career tier, is the garage’s balanced answer — quick enough for the speed targets, composed enough for the overtake counts, and honest under braking when a distance run ends in traffic.

The road there matters as much as the destination. Most of a career is ridden before the superbikes open, and the pick for that long middle stretch is the NJ 350: a lightweight sport bike, balanced in every direction, cheap to upgrade. Ride it, keep its Power and Brakes a step ahead of its Handling, and it will carry you to the tier where the SR 1000Z unlocks. What Career does not reward is the garage’s fastest machinery. The LAZ 400 is widely regarded as the quickest bike in current builds, and it is also the least forgiving — a poor classroom for mission lines you are still learning. Fast is a reward at the end of Career, not a tool for getting through it.

Endless, One-Way: GSR 1300

One-way Endless removes the target and keeps the traffic. You ride until you crash, the score climbs with speed, and close overtakes above 100 km/h keep the bonus paying — the scoring rules are in our Beginner’s Guide if they are new to you. Runs at this length stop being about reactions and become about stability: the bike has to sit calmly at high speed for minutes at a time while you thread gaps that arrive in a steady rhythm.

That is the GSR 1300’s exact job description. The Suzuki Hayabusa-shaped machine is the garage’s high-speed distance bike — heavy in the right way, settled at pace, and strong enough that holding a scoring speed never feels like straining. The ZZF 1400 is the kinder version of the same idea: a big sport-tourer that eats straights and forgives more. Whichever you take, spend on Brakes before Power here. A one-way run rarely ends because the bike was too slow; it ends because a gap closed at the exact moment your braking distance ran out.

Endless, Two-Way: AGS 4F

Two-way Endless is a different sport. Traffic comes at you, your reaction time halves, and the wrong-way bonus pays extra for every second you survive it — which is exactly as dangerous as it sounds. Power stops being the limiting stat. What ends these runs is a steering input that was nearly right, or brakes that needed two metres more than the road had.

So the pick is the precision tool: the AGS 4F, the MV Agusta F4-style premium superbike, listed in the garage for fast, precise runs. It answers steering exactly and stops like it means it, and in two-way traffic those two qualities are worth more than any top-speed figure. The kinder pick is the ZX 750, a naked middleweight whose whole character is responsive traffic riding — it gives up outright pace and buys you room for error, which in this mode is the currency that matters. And a warning that belongs in bold if anywhere: this is the mode where the garage’s fastest bikes go to die. Take the LAZ 400 or the Toma in here before your hands are ready and the run will be short, spectacular and entirely your own fault.

Time Trial: DCT 8910H

Time Trial strips the game down to checkpoints and a clock. There is no traffic score to farm and no distance to survive — just a route, a series of gates, and the time you lose at every slow point. The currency of the mode is acceleration out of the slow parts and braking late into them, repeated cleanly.

The garage has a bike whose listed job is, almost word for word, quick mission times: the DCT 8910H, a Ducati 1098-style race superbike. It is sharp rather than vast — it changes direction without an argument and piles on speed out of corners of the road where the bigger hyperbikes are still gathering themselves. If you own the KWS RH2, the garage’s top-tier all-rounder, it runs the DCT close and beats it on open stretches; on tighter routes the smaller bike’s agility gives the time back. The riding matters more than either: a smooth line held through a checkpoint section gains more than a heroic top speed followed by a panic brake. Practise the route once at nine-tenths before you attack it at full pace.

Free Ride: Chief LT

Free Ride has no target, no timer and no fail state, so “best” here means something different: the best Free Ride bike is the one that teaches you the most per minute. For most players that is the bike they have just bought and not yet learned — its braking distance, its steering weight, the speed at which its mirrors fill with truck. Free Ride is where that learning is free.

When the goal is simply calm miles — learning a new control scheme, say, or settling your braking points — the pick is the Chief LT, a big Indian Chieftain-style touring cruiser built around a deliberate pace. It is unhurried, stable, and honest about its size, which makes it a fine metronome for your hands. New players already own its kinder alternative: the CX 750F starter roadster, which asks nothing and forgives nearly everything. What Free Ride is not for is hiding from the other modes. Use it as the practice ground before a hard mission, not as a substitute for riding one.

If You Can Only Run One Bike

One bike for everything: the SR 1000Z. It is the Career pick because it has no weak side, and that same balance makes it the least-wrong answer everywhere else — stable enough for one-way Endless, sharp enough for Time Trial, and survivable in two-way traffic once its Brakes are upgraded. It will not beat the specialists at their own games. It will also never be the reason a run failed.

Two situations change how you use this page. In the standard game, treat the picks as a shopping order: NJ 350 and ZX 750 first, the superbikes as your career opens them. In the Traffic Rider Mod APK build the whole garage is open from the start, so the table at the top is a menu rather than a ladder — pick per mode, and spend your first sessions learning each machine in Free Ride before you ask it to perform.

Mode Mistakes Worth Avoiding

Taking the fastest bike into two-way traffic. Top speed is the one thing two-way Endless does not reward. Precision and brakes are what you spend there; bring those.

Judging a pick by its top-speed bar alone. Most runs in every mode end in traffic, not at the limiter. The bars that protect the run are Handling and Brakes.

Upgrading Power first for Endless. Distance modes are survival contests. A +5 step on Brakes buys more seconds than a +5 step on Power, almost every run.

Learning a new bike inside a scored mode. A superbike’s braking distance feels nothing like a starter bike’s. Ten minutes in Free Ride is the cheapest lesson in the game.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best bike in Traffic Rider overall?

There is not one — each mode rewards a different bike. If you have to run a single machine everywhere, take the SR 1000Z: it has no weak side. The LAZ 400 is widely regarded as the fastest in current builds, but it is also the least forgiving, which makes it the wrong answer for most jobs.

What is the best bike for Endless mode?

It depends on the direction. For one-way Endless, the GSR 1300 — built for distance and top speed and settled at pace. For two-way Endless, the AGS 4F, because precision and brakes matter more than power when traffic comes at you. The ZX 750 is the kinder two-way pick.

Is the fastest bike the best bike for every mode?

No. Top speed is one stat among three, and most runs end in traffic rather than at the speed limiter. The fastest machines (LAZ 400, Toma) are the least forgiving in the garage — in two-way traffic and on unfamiliar routes they end more runs than they win.

Which bike should a beginner use for each mode?

Start on the CX 750F in Free Ride while you learn the controls. For early Career, stay on the starter bike and then the NJ 350, the garage’s balanced all-rounder. Every new bike, at any level, deserves a few Free Ride runs before it goes near a mission or a scored mode.

Do upgrades change which bike is best?

Yes. Every bike upgrades in Power, Handling and Brakes in +5 steps, and the steps shift what a bike is good at. A mid-range bike with its Brakes upgraded will out-survive a stock superbike in traffic, which is why buying order and upgrade order matter as much as the bike itself.

Are these picks the same in the mod build?

Yes. In the Traffic Rider Mod APK build all 34 bikes are open from the start and money and gold are unlimited, so the picks stop being a shopping order and become a per-mode menu. The riding is unchanged: the right bike for the mode still beats the fastest bike used everywhere.
